CAPTAIN BICEPS is adapted from the comics of the same name. It first appeared in 2003, in the (weekly) magazine Tchô !, becoming a best seller the following year when it came out in one volume (Tchô !, the collection, published by Glénat). Four volumes were published to date, and sold over 400,000 copies in France. The Captain Biceps comics have been translated in a number of countries including Spain, China and South Africa and also appeared in magazines, notably in China (Magazine Wit & Humour), Poland (Magazine Cybermycha), Sweden (Magazine Fantomen), Hungary (Magazine Krenten), and soon in Italy and Turkey. CAPTAIN BICEPS (78x8’ or 26x24’) is a Futurikon production, in coproduction with France 3 and Teletoon, in association with Cofanim, a Backup Film Fund and Cofinova.
